Bakery- and Ice cream museum
The Bakery and Ice cream Museum is a day out for the whole family!
This museum houses an impressive collection of tools, objects and machines that were used in the bakeries in the early days of ice making.
Gerrit Valk died in 1985 and in 1986 a bakery and ice cream museum was established by a foundation.
The museum is open from the first Tuesday in April to the last week of autumn holidays (end of October)
Monday 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm
Tuesday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Saturday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
An audio tour is available with various films / videos about the history of ice cream preparation and the bakery.
During the school holidays there are guided tours with a baking demonstration. Children may help with making a sandwich.
The museum is closed on King's Day, Easter Monday and Ascension Day.
