We divide the payment instalments into three stages:

• The first instalment of 25% must be paid within 14 days of making the booking.
• The second instalment of 25% must be paid within 60 days of arrival.
• The third instalment of 50% must be paid within 21 days prior to arrival.

For bookings with an arrival date within 60 days, different payment terms may apply. The payment terms stated in the booking confirmation take precedence. 

If during the booking you have chosen to take part in the cancellation fund, it is possible to cancel the reservation by mutual agreement. There will be no refund in case of cancellation or early departure. The cancellation fund will pay out in the events listed below, if supported by an official and original declaration, e.g. a letter from the doctor.

• In case of death, sudden illness or accident of the main person or one of the participants. 
• In case of early cancellation of the vacation, due to death of a family member in the first degree, of the main person or one of the participants. 
• Emergency relocation of the main person, due to medical cause, renovation or change of job. 
• Involuntary unemployment of the main person. 

Participation in the fund is possible immediately upon booking and up to 3 days after booking date at the latest. When booking packages, participation in the cancellation fund is unfortunately not possible. If the vacation is cancelled due to one of the previously mentioned events, refunds will be made in proportion to the number of nights not stayed. The moment of cancellation is when you have left the place empty. In case of cancellation, there is no refund of the cancellation fund premium and reservation fee.

Cancellations can only be made in writing. 

All our rental accommodations have single comforters and pillows. You can book extra bed linen if you wish to use it.

We do not send a receipt of payment. If you are in doubt, we can check this for you. You can also check the status of your payment in the 'my environment' on the website. 

It is possible to indicate a preferred spot. You can do this when making a reservation. Via the online booking, you can click the 'preferred booking' button.

You can not check in within the opening hours of the reception ? Please contact us so that our reception staff knows when you arrive at our park. The current opening hours of the reception are on our website.

Dogs are allowed only at the XL waterfront pitches with private sanitary facilities, the rest of the park is dog-free.

Our XL pitches with private sanitary facilities are located directly on our beautiful pond. The private sanitary facilities include your own shower, toilet, sink and design radiator.

With us you will find Spacious Comfort Pitches with modern sanitary facilities and luxury private pitches. Our Spacious Comfort Pitches are equipped with 10 ampere electricity connection, central antenna, waste water drainage and a water tap. With us you will experience the ultimate vacation feeling!

For the rental accommodations it is possible to have a children's bed placed in the accommodation. You can indicate this when you make your reservation.

We also offer the possibility to place a high chair in the accommodation.

At Family Holiday Park Krieghuusbelten you will find the cozy restaurant “Bij Ons”. Here you can enjoy the most delicious daily menus with the entire family. Next to the restaurant you will also find a snack bar, for ice cream, fries or snacks.

The sanitary building located next to Field 1 has a laundry facility. One wash costs €6 and drying costs €0.50 cents per 5 minutes. Detergent is added automatically. You can pay with your debit card. 

Familievakantiepark Krieghuusbelten is situated on a walking and cycling network. In addition, our park borders the Sallandse Heuvelrug nature reserve. The ideal environment for a walking or cycling tour. Ask our staff for the most beautiful routes.

We rent postbikes and cargo bikes. The postbike is € 12,50 per day and € 65,-- per week. The cargo bike is € 20 per day and € 100 per week. 

The store is open daily. Peak season opening hours are from 8:00 am - 5:30 pm. In the early and late season, limited opening hours apply. For this we refer you to the announcement at the store. 

Chemical toilet buckets can be emptied in the designated areas at each toilet building. 

Our park has a free WiFi network with full coverage. This means that you can use wireless internet throughout the entire park. The quality of this network is good. However, it is campsite WiFi. This means that downloading films or live streaming is only possible to a limited extent.

At Familievakantiepark Krieghuusbelten there is more than enough to do, with a wide range of facilities suitable for both young and old. Get to know our interactive play equipment, indoor playground, (indoor) swimming pool, sports facilities and fishing, rowing and playing pond. You can also discover our unique walking and playing forest and take a seat in our cozy restaurant. One thing is certain: with us you will never get bored!

At our park, we use tokens for hot water. You will need these for showering and washing up.

We charge a deposit of €10 per token, and you will also need to top up the token. You can do this with €5 (approximately 30 minutes of hot water) or €10 (approximately 1 hour of hot water).

Any credit remaining on the cards at the end of your stay will be refunded to you along with your deposit when you check out.

You can book the shower cards when making your reservation, via ‘My Account’ or on arrival. 

Bear in mind peak current.
When you switch on an appliance, it briefly draws more power than its normal wattage. Sometimes two to three times as much. You should therefore switch on high-power appliances first and switch other appliances on in turn.

Heating appliances consume more

Appliances that generate heat, such as a heater, oven or coffee machine, use a relatively large amount of electricity. Coordinate their use carefully.

Fridge

An absorption fridge in a caravan can consume an average of 3 kWh per night. If you are away for a longer period during a holiday, it is advisable to switch it off.

To work out which appliances you can use at the same time, simply add up their wattages. The wattage is usually stated on the appliance itself.

As a guide:

• Small heater 750 to 1500 watts
• Small coffee maker 600 to 800 watts
• Small oven: 600 to 800 watts
• Small fridge: 70 to 80 watts
• Lamps: 30 to 40 watts
• Small television: 30 to 40 watts

Please note: these are examples of specialist camping appliances. Household appliances from home often consume more power.

If you use more than 5 kWh per night, the additional consumption will be charged at check-out at the end of your stay.

The cost for additional consumption is €0.60 per kWh.

If you use less than 5 kWh per night, no refund will be given.

Yes, that’s possible! Our camping pitches come with 10 amps as standard, which is approximately 2,300 watts.

For an additional charge, you can choose:

12 amps, approximately 2,760 watts

• €2 per night.

14 amps, approximately 3,220 watts

• €4 per night.

16 amps, approximately 3,680 watts

• €6 per night.

All our camping pitches come with a 10-amp electricity connection as standard. Do you need more amperage? You can easily increase the amperage at reception. If you’re staying on a daily rate, 5 kWh of electricity per night is included. For most campers, this is more than enough for daily use.

Should you exceed the included amount of kWh, this will be charged upon check-out. 

The awning may be a maximum of 3.5 meters deep. For existing awnings deeper than 3.5 meters a transition period applies. An awning may only be closed on the side walls and must be removed during extended absences.

The Safari Lodge Deluxe is made entirely of wood and fully equipped for 5 to 6 people. Directly opposite the Safarilodge deluxe is a play facility, so the children can have fun all day.

Our Holiday Chalets have two or three bedrooms and are all equipped with a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom, including toilet and shower.

Our cozy Holiday Chalets come in different versions, so that there is a suitable accommodation for every group. Our holiday chalets are spread across our family holiday park, surrounded by trees and greenery. The chalets can be rented for 4 to 6 persons.

The Camping Lodge has a private toilet.

Our Camping Lodge contains two furnished bedrooms. In addition to a fully equipped kitchen, there is also a toilet.

Staying in a Camping Lodge is a unique vacation experience. This lodge is made entirely of wood and includes a shaded terrace with lounge set. This accommodation can accommodate up to 5 people.

Swimming is possible only for guests staying at our park and registered at the reception desk. Children without swimming certificate are not allowed to enter the pool unaccompanied. There is no supervision at the pool.

Familievakantiepark Krieghuusbelten features an indoor pool that can be transformed into an outdoor pool. There is also a separate toddler pool, with fun water play elements for the little ones. For the daredevils, there is a 50-meter water slide equipped with LED lighting.

At Familievakantiepark Krieghuusbelten you can enjoy swimming in our indoor and outdoor pool. Due to our special glass roof we can in fact transform our indoor pool into a true outdoor swimming pool within minutes.

In our Play and Fishing Pond, you can fish for carp, tench, zander and whitefish. 

Unfortunately, it is not possible to rent fishing equipment at our park.

No, no fishing license is required to fish. Guests registered at the reception desk are free to use the fishing pond.

In the large rowing, playing and fishing pond at Familievakantiepark Krieghuusbelten you can fish. In the fishpond different species of fish have been set out.

During your vacation at Familievakantiepark Krieghuusbelten absolutely no one has to be bored! For both young and older children, our enthusiastic animation team puts together a diverse program to ensure an unforgettable vacation. When you come to spend the night at Krieghuusbelten, you and your family are completely free to participate in the challenging program of the animation team.
